We’ve all hit a point in our lives when it feels like we can no longer appreciate ourselves enough to keep us going optimally.

We find ourselves in the dumps of self-deprecation.

It can be the exhaustion of being in a social circle that no longer serves us, or the frustration that our own weaknesses and limitations are holding us back.

Whatever it is, it can’t last for long.

I hold the keys to escaping all my problems, not anyone else.

All our worries are rooted in our mental conceptualizations of reality. Even though many of these are fed to us by other people and societal norms, it’s us who sustain them, not the external factors.

If we can just take a step back and let go of the things that aren’t serving us, we can be free of them enough to pursue more useful strategies.

This almost inevitably requires us to honestly look at what we consider to be “problems” in our life.
