I find this is actually much less of a good thing than it seems. Yes, it's easier to get published and get compensated for it, but is all this [reading] information overload really helping anyone? I think if an idea can ONLY be expressed in the format of a book should one bother to even publish one - this focus naturally hones a writer to create their best craft, naturally.
