Most people you see are overwhelmed. They rush, hustle, and stress through a good chunk of their daylight hours.

Then they proceed to log onto platforms that farm whatever mental balance they have left.

Sighing, then, at the end of the day when the weight of it all hits them, they complain how fast-paced it all is.

But who has the guts to call out the horrendous minds we’re living these “stressful” lives through in the first place?

“My job is understaffed and doesn’t give a damn about my personal needs — not even if those needs are essential to continue here. How the hell am I going to manage this energy drain?”

“This country is headed for the dumps,” you think, scrolling through your newsfeed.

Your partner starts coming home later and later, and rather than unpack the reason why, your traumas take over the way you speak to them.

When most people encounter these stressors, their minds skip the “let’s reflect and then respond” dialogue and go straight into freaking out.
