This is soooooooo important to call out! She has done the same for other parts of the world as well, mindlessly following the neocolonialist media rhetoric like a context-deficient zombie. Although I love her and am a huge fan for what she stands for in the American context, the first world really needs to get its tentacles out of the global south, and fast. Thank you for sharing your feelings here; I hope many more of these kinds of pieces get shared so we as a species can move closer to real communication, and hence real resolution.
