Yes exactly!! I'm actually learning to see "cultural appropriation" not through the lens of colonialism, but through the lens of pure spiritual ignorance (I mean, if there wasn't so much ego-imbalance, colonialist mindsets wouldn't even arise...)

I think this is soooooo so so crucial for people who want to behave as "altruistic ghosts" as Shantideva states. Like doing as much karmic engineering "light work" as possible without leaving heavy anger and ill-will in the world, so the obstacles are less and our power is more. But it demands some serious higher perspective that we are not our bodies, not our race, not even the karmic conditions that created these things in the first place. And then carry that higher witness into a world full of delusive clownery...
